Plopet is a set of calming fidget toys with a virtual pet, at plopet.fun. There are no accounts, no ads and no chat. Plopet is made for kids, but this page is for grown-ups. It says what data the app and the site use, where it goes and why. Write to support@plopet.fun.
Progress stays on the device
The app keeps its progress in the browser's storage on your device: the pets (stage, form, favourite food, outfit, room and character), snacks in the fridge, toy progress, pets flushed to the shelf, and the sound and vibration settings. If Pro is on, the device also keeps that fact, the licence token, a random install number and the e-mail a grown-up typed at checkout. The browser also remembers the interface language and how often the app offered to be installed.
None of this is sent to us.
To keep a copy or move to another device, open Settings → “For parents” → “Save or move progress”. It saves a JSON file. Pro is not in the file: on another device you turn it on with your key. Loading a file replaces the progress on that device, and the app asks a grown-up math question first.
Clearing the site's data in the browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes the progress for good.
Outside services
Each service gets only what its job needs:
- Vercel hosts the site, the app and our server functions. Like any host, it sees the network address of each request. We don't store it.
- Google Fonts: the fonts (M PLUS Rounded 1c and Nunito) load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, so your browser contacts Google when a page opens.
- Neon (Postgres) is our database. It holds the purchase records and the daily event totals described below.
- Lava.top runs the payment page. A grown-up enters card or Apple Pay details there, or pays by SBP in Russia. We never see card details.
- Resend sends two kinds of e-mail: the letter with the Pro key, and the letter a grown-up asks for to restore it. It gets the e-mail address and the letter. It also delivers ideas sent from Settings → Suggest a feature to our own inbox: only the text, the app language and version, with no address or install number, so we can't reply.
The app shows no content from outside services: no AI, no translation services.
Anonymous counts
To see which parts of Plopet kids enjoy, the app counts a fixed list of events: app opened, onboarding finished or skipped, which toy was opened, snack earned, egg hatched, pet grew, pet flushed, shop or payment page opened, Pro turned on, install offer shown or accepted, progress exported or imported. It sends only the event name and how many times it happened. Our server keeps one daily total per event name.
Links from our site into the app carry the name of the page they came from: the main page, the calm page, a toy page or another page. The app counts the arrival under that page name and keeps the name on the device. If a purchase follows, the shop, payment and Pro steps are counted under the same page name too. Only these totals reach us, so we can see which page brings families who buy, not who they are.
Links in our social media posts and ads carry a short tag for the network, such as “tt” for TikTok. The page counts one visit under that tag, and the app counts the same steps under it as above. The tag says nothing about the person.
Inside the built-in browser of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest or Snapchat, the page shows a note asking to open it in your usual browser. To do that it reads the browser's own name, on the device only, and sends nothing.
There is no user ID, no device ID and no cookies. The IP address is not stored. We can't tell who did what.
Prices for your region
When the shop opens, our server reads the country that Vercel attaches to the request, only to pick the price zone: Russia, Europe or the rest of the world. The country is not stored. The zone is stored with the purchase.
Buying Pro
Nothing about a purchase is sent until a grown-up opens the payment sheet. Before that, only the anonymous counts leave the device.
For each purchase we keep: the Pro key, the install numbers it runs on, the payment provider and method, the amount, currency, price zone and status, the provider's reference, the buyer's e-mail, the language of the letter and the dates. We also keep a log of payment events the provider sends us, and a log of key and restore e-mails (address, kind, whether it was sent, time). For each idea sent from Settings the log keeps only a line with the kind and time, to cap letters per day; the text itself isn't stored.
While Pro is on, the app checks the key with our server about once a week. It sends the key and the install number.
We use the e-mail only to send the key, to send it again when asked, and to handle a refund. No newsletters, no marketing.
How long we keep it
Purchase records stay until you ask us to delete them. The daily totals have nothing about a person in them.
Your choices
- To delete purchase records, write to support@plopet.fun. We may have to keep a payment record the law requires. After deletion we may not be able to help restore Pro.
- You can also ask what we hold about your purchase, or ask us to correct the e-mail.
- To delete the data on the device, clear the browser's site data for Plopet or uninstall the app.
Children
We collect nothing about the child: no names, ages, photos, voice, location, contacts or advertising IDs. Kids don't sign up and don't type anything about themselves. The one exception is the idea form in Settings: it asks not to type names or contacts, and only its text reaches us. The grown-up's e-mail is asked only on the pay screen.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page with a new date.
